The June Update
WrestleVerse 26.6 is now live on the App Store for iOS, iPadOS, and macOS! Our focus for this month’s update was to further expand on the new experimental Match Scripts feature that we launched last month.
Angle Scripts
The Scripts system has now been extended to support Angles. Many of the same Match Script sequences are available, along with new sequences such as:
- Promos, along with the ability to specify an optional interviewer
- Brawls and Enforcements
- Handshakes
- Events of 3 types: contract signing, talk show, and wedding
- ‘Low blow’ and ‘eye poke’ added as moves
You can also specify whether an Angle takes place backstage or in the ring, and the sequences will automatically respect the environment.
Match Script Enhancements
Most of the new sequences added as part of Angle Scripts are also available in Match Scripts too, along with the following additional enhancements:
- Interfering participants now automatically make an entrance
- A DQ finish is suggested after a weapon is used
- A pinfall finish is suggested after a signature or finisher move lands
- Reversals are now suggested
Everything Else
Here’s every other little detail that’s new in this update:
- Fixed an issue where a Match Script could become stuck after a submission was ignored while the referee was down
- Negative stat-change incidents are now only offered when the wrestler has enough stat points for the reduction
- Updated the toggle style button to use the new ‘selected’ color style
- Improved the balancing of the morale mechanic
